Mission&Vision

Our History
Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (Biga FEAS) started its activities in 1994-1995 academic year with two departments, namely Economics and Business Administration. The Department of International Relations was opened in 1995-1996 academic year together with the departments of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, Finance, and Public Administration. Secondary education programme of the department was added in 2003-2004 academic year.

Our Mission
The main mission of our department is to provide our students with analytical thinking skills about the history, functioning, legal framework, inter-state relations and Turkey's position in the international system. In this respect, it aims to educate students who are knowledgeable, well-equipped, cultured, versatile, creative, inquisitive and self-confident individuals in the face of current problems. On the other hand, one of our main objectives is to enable our students to enter the business world with a "quality-oriented, innovative and entrepreneurial" approach.

Our Vision
The Department of International Relations, with its management approach that values institutional culture and aims for quality-oriented development, aims to be a leading programme in the region by providing its students with a good history, foreign policy, political science, sociology and economics education as well as a good sociology and economics education with a liberal, innovative and sustainable approach and to approach national and global problems with an interdisciplinary perspective.

Strategic Objectives and Targets
Our department has set as its main goal to continue its development based on quality awareness. In this context, in the strategic plan of the Department of International Relations, our strategic goals are stated as follows;
